Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of investor relations materials, including press releases, corporate announcements, investor presentations, and website content.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of investor engagement activities such as Annual General Meetings (AGMs), investor roadshows, and conferences.
  • Conduct daily news monitoring and compile concise market updates and reports for senior management.
  • Track, monitor, and report on the organisation's sustainability performance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Act as the primary administrative point of contact for shareholder-related matters, handling queries and coordination effectively.
  • Follow up with investors on outstanding documentation or action items (e.g. KYC, payments, signatures) and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support shareholder onboarding and account maintenance processes, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
  • Assist in mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and investment activities, including conducting commercial due diligence, financial analysis, valuation, and supporting deal structuring.
  • Liaise and coordinate with target companies, external advisors, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution and completion of transactions.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • With 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in investor relations, corporate finance, M&A, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with exposure to financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence processes.
  • Good understanding of capital markets, corporate governance, and sustainability/ESG reporting is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality presentations and reports.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with investors, management, and external parties.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) familiarity with financial databases/tools is an added advantage.
