Job Description

As a multi-strategy hedge fund with $10bn business in Asia, we are seeking a senior marketing and capital-raising professional to lead the firm's global fundraising strategy, with a strong focus on institutional capital. This role will take full ownership of the end-to-end overseas fundraising process, build and manage key distribution and brokerage relationships.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the full overseas fundraising lifecycle, formulating fundraising strategy and annual targets, with a focus on institutional investors including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, and funds of funds, and delivering large-ticket capital inflows.
  2. Lead the development, management, and optimization of overseas distribution channels, including global banks and third-party distributors; ensure strong understanding of distribution workflows and regulatory requirements, and continuously scale distribution volumes.
  3. Manage securities lending (stock borrowing) relationships with major international brokerages, with a solid understanding of lending rules, cost structures, and cooperation models; build and maintain a stable and efficient brokerage network to support business operations.
  4. Develop and deepen relationships with quantitative hedge funds and institutional clients, serving as the primary contact for key accounts; deliver customized fundraising solutions and high-quality post-investment support. 5. Monitor overseas market trends and regulatory developments, design targeted marketing and roadshow strategies, and organize participation in international industry conferences and investor events to effectively communicate the firm's value proposition.

Requriments:

  1. 5+ years of hands-on overseas fundraising experience, with verifiable large-scale capital raising results; experience in quantitative private funds or hedge funds is highly preferred.
  2. In-depth knowledge of global bank distribution models, with a proven track record in channel development, partnership execution, and asset scale-up; strong familiarity with compliance and regulatory processes.
  3. Extensive experience working with major international brokerages on securities lending, able to efficiently coordinate and resolve operational issues, with established and stable brokerage relationships.
  4. Proven experience engaging with sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, and other institutional investors, with an existing network of high-quality institutional capital resources.
  5. Bachelor's degree or above from a reputable domestic or international university; majors in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related fields preferred. SFC Type 4 and/or Type 9 licenses are a strong plus.
  6. Fluent in both English and Mandarin (English as a working language), with excellent communication, negotiation, roadshow, and team management skills; strong ability to perform under pressure.
