Role Overview
The Investor Engagement & Capital Raising Associate / Manager is a front-office, investor-facing role responsible for driving investor acquisition, capital raising, and long-term relationship management across RealVantage's private equity and private credit real estate platform.
This is a highly commercial role suited for individuals who enjoy building relationships, developing new business opportunities, and engaging with investors throughout their investment journey. Working closely with the Investment, Marketing, Investor Experience, Operations, and Compliance teams, you will play a key role in expanding RealVantage's investor base while delivering an exceptional investment experience.
The successful candidate will combine strong relationship management skills with a commercial mindset, acting as a trusted adviser to investors while contributing directly to the firm's fundraising objectives.
Commercial Expectations
The successful candidate will be expected to proactively acquire new investors, consistently raise capital across RealVantage's investment opportunities, and deepen relationships with existing investors to encourage repeat investments and referrals.
Success in this role will be driven by disciplined pipeline management, proactive business development, strong investor engagement, and the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships that contribute meaningfully to the firm's fundraising growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investor Acquisition & Capital Raising
- Proactively source, engage, and convert accredited investors, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and sophisticated investors into active RealVantage investors.
- Manage the full investor lifecycle—from initial engagement and qualification through onboarding, investment execution, and ongoing relationship management.
- Conduct investor meetings, discovery sessions, investment presentations, and deal discussions to understand investor objectives and recommend suitable investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective investors through referrals, networking, strategic partnerships, marketing campaigns, and proactive business development.
- Achieve individual fundraising objectives by converting qualified prospects into committed investors and capital commitments.
- Work closely with the Investment Team to communicate investment opportunities effectively and address investor enquiries throughout the fundraising process.
2. Relationship Management & Investor Growth
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of investors.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships that encourage repeat investments and deepen investor engagement across multiple opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication through meetings, calls, portfolio discussions, investment updates, and market insights.
- Understand each investor's objectives, investment preferences, and risk appetite to proactively identify suitable opportunities.
- Deliver a high-touch investor experience that strengthens trust, loyalty, and long-term engagement.
3. Business Development & Network Expansion
- Expand RealVantage's investor ecosystem through professional networking, referrals, and strategic relationship building.
- Develop relationships with family offices, wealth advisers, private banks, financial intermediaries, and other centres of influence.
- Generate qualified investor referrals through strong client relationships and consistent engagement.
- Represent RealVantage professionally as a trusted adviser and ambassador within the private wealth and investment community.
4. Investor Events & Market Engagement
- Organise and host investor seminars, webinars, market outlook sessions, and investment briefings together with the Investment Team.
- Represent RealVantage at conferences, networking events, and industry forums to strengthen brand awareness and originate new investor relationships.
- Partner with Marketing to support investor engagement campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and educational content.
5. Pipeline Management & Investor Insights
- Maintain accurate and disciplined CRM records across all investor interactions and fundraising activities.
- Monitor investor pipelines, relationship development, fundraising progress, and investor engagement.
- Provide regular updates on fundraising activity, investor trends, and pipeline development to management.
- Gather investor feedback and market intelligence to support investment origination, product development, and continuous improvement of the investor experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Marketing
- Collaborate on investor acquisition campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Provide feedback on lead quality, investor personas, and campaign effectiveness to improve conversion outcomes.
Investment Team
- Partner on investor presentations, webinars, and deal briefings.
- Communicate investor feedback and market demand to support investment origination and product development.
Investor Experience
- Ensure a seamless investor journey from onboarding through the investment lifecycle.
- Coordinate investor communications and service excellence across all touchpoints.
Operations & Compliance
- Facilitate KYC, AML, accreditation, and subscription processes.
- Ensure fundraising activities are conducted in accordance with MAS regulations and internal compliance standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
- 2–6 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, investment advisory, investor relations, capital raising, financial sales, or alternative investments.
- Demonstrated success in client acquisition, relationship management, and achieving commercial or fundraising objectives.
- Experience working with accredited investors, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, or sophisticated investors is preferred.
- Exposure to private equity, private credit, real estate, or alternative investments is highly desirable.
