Our client, a Venture Capital Fund specialised in the sustainable environmental space, is looking for a seasoned Investment VP/SVP to be part of their team. Reporting to CIO, the role will cover the end-to-end investment process including deal sourcing and screening, investment due diligence, execution etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the senior management to identify and screen investment opportunities
- Conduct investment due diligence by meeting with potential portfolio companies and their founders
- Conduct financial analysis and modelling, investment valuation, industry research etc
- Lead junior team members on due diligence and execution process
- Involve in structuring and negotiating deal transactions, liaise with external stakeholders such as legal, tax etc
- Provide post-investment support to portfolio companies such as business and financial advice to create value and improve their business process
- Monitor and keep track of the performance of portfolio companies
- Keep track of the market trends and developments particularly in clean and renewable energy, sustainable economies and environment etc
- Other ad-hoc duties related to investment and portfolio management etc
