Investment VP/SVP, Venture Capital Fund (Singapore) (CLOSED)

Our client, a Venture Capital Fund specialised in the sustainable environmental space, is looking for a seasoned Investment VP/SVP to be part of their team. Reporting to CIO, the role will cover the end-to-end investment process including deal sourcing and screening, investment due diligence, execution etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the senior management to identify and screen investment opportunities
• Conduct investment due diligence by meeting with potential portfolio companies and their founders
• Conduct financial analysis and modelling, investment valuation, industry research etc
• Lead junior team members on due diligence and execution process
• Involve in structuring and negotiating deal transactions, liaise with external stakeholders such as legal, tax etc
• Provide post-investment support to portfolio companies such as business and financial advice to create value and improve their business process
• Monitor and keep track of the performance of portfolio companies
• Keep track of the market trends and developments particularly in clean and renewable energy, sustainable economies and environment etc
• Other ad-hoc duties related to investment and portfolio management etc

Key Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of investment experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity industry
• Strong investment experience covering whole-cycle including deal origination, execution, closing, portfolio management etc
• Good understanding of market, regulatory and economic drivers to clean energy sector
• Strong analytical, financial analysis and modeling skills, good business acumen
• Leadership skills to guide team members, and develop business relationships in the industry
