Investment Specialist (Singapore)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an Investment Specialist to contribute to the business development activities in Asia by providing technical investment and product support to the BNY Investments sales teams and their clients in Asia as well as contribute to the wider Insight Distribution team in APAC.

Role Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with Insight's investment & distribution team members in the UK, US and APAC
• Build strong relationships with and deliver excellent service to local BNY Investments sales and marketing teams
• Contribute to the wider Insight APAC Distribution Team in order to grow the business
• Develop a solid understanding of Insight's fixed income, currency, multi-asset & overlay investment process and capabilities
• Assist with the preparation of marketing materials & reports to support the business development activities in the region
• Understand and ensure compliance with local regulations and reporting requirements
  
  

Experience Required:

• Extensive experience as a fixed income or multi-asset product specialist at a global asset management firm
• Strong understanding of all public market asset classes and across a range of investment strategies
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and written and oral communication skills
• Possess a good understanding of the asset management industry as well as t he commercial dynamics of the intermediary & institutional channels in Asia
• Highly motivated, proactive and execution focussed
• Able to develop strong relationships and build consensus, both internally and externally
• Excellent communication skills; highly articulate and able to tailor style as appropriate
• Collaborative working style; demonstrable desire to generate and develop ideas with a wide range of colleagues across the organisation
• Able to prioritise and manage time and projects effectively
• Client centric with a commercial mindset
