Together, we co create bespoke strategies and provide high quality advice to support our clients long term wealth objectives. As an Investment Specialist, you will act as a trusted investment specialist for Great Eastern's HNW clients and Private Wealth Advisors, delivering bespoke portfolio solutions and investment strategies that align with client objectives and regulatory standards. This role bridges insights, product expertise, and sales activation, ensuring superior client outcomes and revenue growth under MAS-compliant practices.
- Lead client meetings to diagnose objectives (return, risk, liquidity, tax, legacy) and propose bespoke, multi‑asset solutions.
- Provide investment proposals across Great Eastern products (where permitted).
- Partner with PWAs to conduct in-depth client meetings, uncovering goals and designing tailored portfolios.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for priority investment solutions
- Construct discretionary advisory portfolios and proposals aligned to risk profiles and time horizons.
- Provide clear, evidence‑based recommendations with thesis, risks, scenarios, and exit strategies.
- Guide portfolio rebalancing, risk overlays, and cash management; track performance and suitability over time.
- Drive activation campaigns with PWAs and RMs to convert ideas into revenue.
- Collaborate with various teams to translate market views into actionable ideas for HNW clients.
- Ensure all proposals and advice comply with MAS regulations, including suitability, disclosures, and advertising standards.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or related; CFA (preferred)
- 8–12 years in investment advisory/wealth management/private banking serving HNW clients.
- Demonstrated success converting views into portfolio outcomes and driving revenue with compliant practices.
- Strong knowledge of multi‑asset investing, portfolio construction, alternatives, and structured solutions.
- Familiarity with MAS regulatory requirements and CMFAS certifications (M5, M8/M8A, M9/M9A).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder influence; credible with senior bankers and HNW clients
