Job Description

Investment Operations Manager - Multi-Asset Portfolios

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly portfolio performance reports, including analysis of portfolio returns, risk metrics, and benchmark comparisons.
  • Track and review the performance of existing portfolio holdings and provide insights on trends and investment outcomes.
  • Monitor and analyze investment performance metrics to evaluate investment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Generate and present investment operations reports including performance reports, risk reports, and compliance reports.
  • Oversee fund accounting and administration processes, including NAV preparation.
  • Perform reconciliation of cash balances and portfolio positions with bank and custodian statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of portfolio data across reporting systems.
  • Own and manage related portfolio management systems.
  • Ensure operational efficiency, data integrity, and continuous improvement of reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure robust database management practices and effective risk management controls are in place.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvements across investment operations and reporting workflows.
  • Implement enhancements to improve operational controls, reporting quality, and efficiency.
  • Support additional operational and reporting tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment operations, fund accounting, investment reporting, or portfolio operations.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end project implementation and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and investment operations across asset classes including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify operational inefficiencies, and drive process improvements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, with hands-on experience using Bloomberg and portfolio management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and present effectively to senior management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with a high standard of accuracy and quality.
