Main Responsibilities
- Work with the CEO to source and manage a pipeline of attractive private equity and private debt investment opportunities suited to the private wealth investor class.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and prepare / present investment proposals to the investment committee.
- Coordinate the entire transaction process including due diligence, structuring, negotiation, funding and completion.
- Collaborate effectively with the fund management and client services teams to ensure a seamless experience for partners and investors.
- Generally ensure adherence of all investment practices to relevant regulatory requirements.
- Regularly monitor, measure and assess portfolio performance against benchmarks and implement strategies to enhance asset value.
- Maintain a strong network with external stakeholders and market the company's service offering to potential partners and investors.
Required Skills
- Deal Sructuring & Execution - Strong proficiency in financial modelling, valuation, legal documentation, negotiation, coordination and stakeholder management
- Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English is required, other languages desirable)
- Organization - High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and strong time management
- Interpersonal Skills - Active listening skills and the ability to build rapport with senior stakeholders of potential targets and across the industry
- Ethical Conduct - High integrity, responsibility and adherence to confidentiality and data privacy standards when handling business information.
Required Qualifications / Experience
- Education - Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field CFA or similar qualification is desirable.
- Experience - 8-10 years prior experience in mid-market private equity, venture capital or corporate finance. Exposure to multiple asset-classes is highly preferred.
