Lico Resources is partnering a reputable international private equity firm, seeking an experienced Investment Manager with 8-12 years of relevant experience to support the full investment lifecycle for infrastructure and real asset opportunities. This role offers exposure to complex, high-value transactions-covering assessment, structuring, negotiations, approvals, and deal completion-while working alongside senior stakeholders and external counterparties.
Drive evaluation of potential investments by assessing commercial viability, strategic fit, and risk-return profile.
Lead key execution workstreams across transactions, coordinating internal teams and external advisers through to completion.
Prepare high-quality investment papers and presentations for management and investment committees.
Oversee due diligence across financial, legal, technical, and regulatory areas, ensuring findings translate into clear decision points.
Guide transaction structuring, including review of equity and debt arrangements, key terms, and value drivers.
Manage financial analysis and model review, validating assumptions and running sensitivity and scenario testing.
Support negotiation of major project and financing documents, ensuring alignment with investment objectives and protections.
Engage confidently with sponsors, lenders, developers, consultants, and government-linked stakeholders when required.
Track and manage transaction risks, proposing mitigants and ensuring issues are resolved without delaying timelines.
Contribute to portfolio and governance-related discussions post-investment, including performance monitoring and stakeholder reporting.
Essential
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
8-12 years of experience in infrastructure investing, project finance, PPP/IPP transactions, investment banking (relevant coverage), or similar.
Demonstrated involvement in executing transactions with exposure to both financing and equity investment considerations.
Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to balance detail and pragmatism in complex deal environments.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present clearly to senior decision-makers.
Advantageous
MBA or Master's qualification.
Experience working on cross-border projects and/or with development finance institutions.
Additional regional language skills.
