Job Description

Job Description:

We are partnering with a reputable Singapore-based Single Family Office (SFO) to recruit an Investment Director. This confidential role leads the family's global investment strategy and execution, with a focus on equity, debt, and private equity investments. The ideal candidate will bring proven Family Office experience, a track record of delivering consistent returns, and the ability to align investments with the family's long-term wealth goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement global cross-asset investment strategies (public equities, fixed income/credit, private equity, alternatives) aligned with the family's risk tolerance and wealth objectives.
  2. Lead end-to-end investment execution: source deals, conduct in-depth due diligence, build financial models (DCF/LBO/comparables), negotiate transaction terms, and oversee post-investment value creation.
  3. Manage the family's capital pool: optimize cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and strategic partnerships with private banks, custodians, and global GP/LP networks.
  4. Report directly to the family's core members/CIO, provide regular performance updates, and advise on wealth preservation and succession planning.
  5. Ensure compliance with MAS regulations and cross-border investment rules; lead a small team of analysts to standardize investment processes.

Requirements:

  1. Native/bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (written + verbal).
  2. 10+ years of financial investment experience, including 5+ years in a Family Office (SFO/MFO) core investment role (leading asset allocation/capital management).
  3. Proven hands-on experience in equity, debt, and private equity investments (deal execution + portfolio management).
  4. Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills; proficient in Bloomberg, Pitchbook, or Capital IQ.
  5. Strong stakeholder management skills (family members, external partners, legal/tax advisors).
  6. Professional certifications (CFA, CAIA) are highly preferred.
