Investment & Management Analyst

Job Description

• Sourcing, evaluation, structuring, and execution of investment transactions within technology and alternative lending industries
• Strategising and developing of investment thesis on potential opportunities
• Preparation of investment slide decks and financial modeling of private credit opportunities
• Presentation and marketing of investment proposals to senior management, investors, and business partners
• Work with legal, financial, and other consultants on fundraising, deals, and startup advisory
• Continuous investment management of private debt / venture debt / venture capital investments, in terms of forecasting and monitoring financial returns
• Contribute to the development of Helicap's technology and analytics platform
• Participate in business development initiatives within Helicap and portfolio companies
• Assist with marketing, events, and other commercial activities

Skill Sets & Requirements

• 0 – 2 years of working experience and looking to develop a meaningful career in FinTech / investments
• Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and enjoys a startup culture
• Open-minded, curious, and willing to learn
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in financial analysis and Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint
• Programming knowledge and skills is a plus
• Willing to work through long hours and late nights when necessary, especially during peak seasons and deal closure periods
