Investment Finance Associate (Real Estate)
APAC Regional Investment Platform
An established investment platform is seeking a finance professional to support portfolio planning, performance analysis, and fund-level reporting across its APAC investments. This role offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver insights for management and investors.
Key Responsibilities
. Support budgeting, forecasting, and rolling projections across a regional investment portfolio, ensuring consistency and reliability of financial data
. Prepare and review periodic reporting deliverables, including performance analysis, valuation inputs, and cash flow / liquidity projections
. Partner with accounting teams and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely financial close, including review of fund financials and reconciliations
. Analyse portfolio performance, including returns, key drivers, and variances against plan, and translate findings into clear management and investor insights
. Oversee cash flow and funding activities, including monitoring liquidity, supporting capital movements, and ensuring appropriate governance processes
. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners on acquisitions, divestments, refinancing activities, and ongoing process improvements, including reporting automation initiatives
Requirements
. Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline professional qualifications (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA) are advantageous
. 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit, or financial planning & analysis, with exposure to real estate investment or fund finance environments preferred
. Familiarity with financial reporting standards (e.g. IFRS) and understanding of investment structures and governance frameworks
. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with proficiency in Excel and exposure to reporting tools (e.g. Power BI or similar)
. Ability to manage multiple deliverables and work across stakeholders in a fast-paced, regional environment
. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
