Job Description:
The Investment Counsellor serves as the Company's subject-matter expert on investment outlook and solutioning, delivering advisory services to both internal teams and external stakeholders. This is an individual contributor position reporting directly to the Head of Investment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide investment advisory services to both clients and Client Advisors, ensuring tailored and effective solutions.
- Position our in-house investment solutions effectively to clients and other relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and present our investment outlook, creating compelling pitch decks.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, offering subject-matter expert advisory while fostering long-term relationships built on trust.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, both front and back offices, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of strategies.
- Lead and support investment team's other core functions and/or initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Business/Finance/Economics
- Strong technical knowledge of investments, financial markets, and portfolio management with circa 5 years of professional experience.
- Experience in discretionary portfolio management, credit analysis, risk management and/or systematic trading would be a plus.
- Excellent soft skills to manage client relationships and foster collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to create and deliver high-quality presentations and pitch materials.
- A proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to stay updated on market trends and translate them into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility with clients and other stakeholders.
