Investment Counsellor, Private Wealth Director (Australia UHNW)

The Opportunity

This is not your standard advisory role. We are looking for an Investment Consultant to partner with a elite team of RMs to manage and grow a book exclusively focused on Australian Billionaires and UHNW families.

In a market defined by sophisticated family offices and a heavy tilt toward real assets and private capital, you will be the Technical Architect. This role offers a genuine taste of entrepreneurship: you will be tasked with co-founding the investment strategy for a specific pod of clients, enjoying the autonomy to build bespoke portfolios that go far beyond standard equity/bond splits.

Your Role

• Serve as the technical lead alongside RMs to win and manage mandates for Australia's wealthiest individuals and family offices.
• Design sophisticated, multi-asset strategies that account for the unique Australian tax environment.
• Leverage your network and expertise to provide access to sophisticated public and private market opportunities - the preferred playground of the Australian UHNW.
• Identify gaps in the current local market offering and build out proprietary investment themes that resonate with the Australian wealth psyche.

The Ideal Profile

We are looking for a heavy-hitter with the following:

• 10+ years in Investment Consulting or Portfolio Management. CFA/CAIA or Masters in Finance.
• Deep familiarity with the Australian investment landscape, including the regulatory framework and the specific needs of Australian family offices.
• Proven experience dealing with $50m+ mandates. You understand the discretion, speed, and high-touch service required at the Billionaire level.
• Strong proficiency in both traditional markets and alternatives. An understanding of the local direct Investment culture in Australia is a significant plus.
• You aren't afraid to challenge the status quo and are motivated by a performance-driven environment where your input directly scales the business.
