Job Description



Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of M&A, private capital raising, IPO and follow-on transactions across Southeast Asia
  • Assume primary responsibility for transaction execution, proactively identifying key risks, structuring issues, and delivering commercially sound solutions
  • Manage and deepen daytoday client relationships in Southeast Asia, working closely with corporates, financial sponsors, and industry participants
  • Partner with senior bankers on deal origination by driving preparation of client materials and contributing to strategic discussions and pitches
  • Lead and coordinate interactions with regulators, investors, and professional advisers throughout the transaction lifecycle, including due diligence, financial modelling and analysis, and management of deal and process-related requests
  • Oversee transaction workstreams and ensure timely, high-quality execution across internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Mentor, train, and supervise junior bankers, providing guidance, quality control, and performance feedback
  • Develop sector and market insights by analysing capital markets and M&A trends in Southeast Asia, identifying actionable business and deal opportunities

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master's degree or higher in finance, economics, accounting, business management, or a related field from a reputable institution
  • A minimum of six years of investment banking experience in Singapore, with a strong execution track record
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with deep expertise in financial analysis, valuation, and accounting
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, transaction structures, and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven experience leading M&A and IPO transactions in Singapore and/or Southeast Asia
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multiworkstream transaction processes and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Commercial mindset with a strong interest in business development and the ability to originate and support new mandates
  • Highly driven, dependable, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
  • High standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
