Investment Banking, Strategic Client Coverage - Associate Director / Associate

Our client is a foreign wholesale bank with a growing regional franchise. They are seeking to add a Associate Director / Associate to their Strategic Client Coverage (SCC) department (part of Investment Banking). The SCC serves as the first point of contact with identified key wholesale banking clientele sets locally and in the region, offering a strategic coverage backed by the bank's full suite of corporate and investment banking products such as Leveraged & Acquisition Finance, Corporate Banking, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Equity Capital Markets (ECM), and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).

• Drive origination efforts and build long-term client relationships with corporates and financial sponsors in Singapore and across the region
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and various product groups within the bank to deliver the full suite of solutions
• Drive cross-selling initiatives and foster regional collaboration across product teams
• Structure and deliver financing and advisory solutions, including leveraged acquisition financing
• Work closely with Corporate Banking in the credit approval process for financing transactions
• Lead the preparation of pitch books, client presentations, financial analyses, and transaction marketing materials
• Lead transaction execution by coordinating internal and external stakeholders, including legal counsel, auditors, consultants, and counterparties
• Perform financial modelling and valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow and comparable multiples
• Prepare management reporting, deal pipeline tracking, and financial budgeting materials

Requirements

• 2-5 years (Associate), 5 – 8 years (Assoc Director) of relevant experience in investment banking, structured finance, corporate banking. Candidates in deal advisory with the audit firms can be considered
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, and valuation skills
• Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to build client relationships and drive origination initiatives
• Strong understanding of capital markets products and cross-border financing solutions
