Position: Investment Banking Expert

Role Responsibilities
- Construct enterprise investment banking scenarios for $1B+ M&A transactions, multi-stakeholder deal committees, and complex capital markets or regulatory review cycles.
- Build tasks across M&A advisory, equity and debt capital markets, leveraged finance, valuation and financial modeling, and pitch/deal execution.
- Develop deal execution scenarios using tools like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, and enterprise financial modeling and deal-management platforms.
- Apply enterprise investment banking methodologies such as DCF, comparable company/precedent transaction analysis, LBO modeling, and fairness opinion standards to produce reference pitch books, valuation models, and executive/board-level deal narratives.
- Author rubrics that distinguish authentic investment banking judgment from generic textbook or interview-prep-level recall.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 5+ years working in M&A advisory, capital markets, or leveraged finance at a bulge-bracket bank, elite boutique, or major financial institution (e.g., Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Evercore, Lazard).
- Direct ownership of F500-scale deal execution, capital raises, or advisory mandates.
- Fluency in investment banking tooling, valuation methodologies, and deal-process mechanics, plus understanding of how F500 board approvals, regulatory review (SEC, antitrust), and legal/due diligence processes work.
Preferred
- Prior rubric, financial-modeling curriculum, or pitch book/deal documentation authorship.
