Summary of Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management

  • Monitor portfolio company investment status and performance across financial, operational, and strategic KPIs
  • Work closely with portfolio companies and their founders to provide strategic support in terms of strategy, fundraising, and business growth planning
  • Stay informed and conduct market research about industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics within the start-up ecosystem
  • Review board materials, investor updates, and prepare internal portfolio review memos and quarterly updates

Transaction execution and exits

  • Assess follow-on investment or partial liquidity opportunities within the portfolio
  • Prepare exit materials: Presentation decks, teasers and data rooms for potential investors
  • Identify and map potential investors, acquirers, and business partners that are relevant for the portfolio companies
  • Conduct valuation analysis and review transaction documentation to support deal structuring and negotiations

Investor relations and fund operations

  • Assist in the preparations of investor communications, presentations, and periodic updates for limited partners (LPs). Communicate investment thesis, key findings, and performance updates effectively
  • Serve as a point of contact for investors regarding operational queries and reporting
  • Work closely with the fund admin on fund NAV, compliance and audit matters

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree from a top-tier institution
  • 1-2 years working experience preferred but candidates without experience are welcome to apply
  • Positive attitude, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, preferably with interest in startups, investments, and the venture capital world
  • Previous M&A or big four transaction advisory experience are preferred
  • Proficiency in Mandarin/Bahasa Indonesia preferred to communicate with our core customer base in China/Indonesia
  • Must already possess a valid working visa in Singapore / be Singaporean / Singapore PR
