Role Overview

As an Investment Associate at Serendipity Capital, you will play a central role across the entire investment lifecycle — from sourcing and evaluating opportunities to supporting portfolio companies as they grow and scale. The role demands analytical rigour, strategic thinking, and a genuine passion for technology.

You will have direct exposure to leading founders, technologies and co-investors across our focus markets. We operate with a flat structure, where you'll work directly within the Investments team and engage with the senior leadership of Serendipity Capital.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing and screening investment opportunities in target sectors; managing the investment pipeline
• Conducting comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, market research, competitive landscape assessment, and technology evaluation
• Building financial models and preparing investment cases to support valuations and recommendations
• Assisting with the preparation of advice and investment memorandums to the CEO / CIO, Investment Committee and Board of Directors
• Actively supporting portfolio companies with strategic guidance and fundraising efforts
• Conducting in-depth market research and analysis, including industry trends and competitive dynamics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, business, economics or finance
• 2 to 4 years of formal work experience following graduation
• A strong desire to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Passion for technology and startups
• Prior experience in investment banking or management consulting is highly preferred
