Investment Associate

Core Responsibilities

• Capital Raising: Facilitate the raising of money by issuing debt (bonds) or selling equity (stock) through public and private markets.
• Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Advise on buying, selling, or merging companies, including valuation and deal structuring.
• Financial Modeling: Build complex models in Excel for valuations, forecasting, and deal profitability.
• Pitch Book Creation: Design presentations in PowerPoint to pitch services to prospective clients.
• Due Diligence: Conduct strategic research and ensure all transactions comply with government regulations.
• Portfolio Management: Advise on capital markets and construct investment portfolios, including executing trades and selecting asset classes.
• Risk & Tax Management: Assess insurance needs and strategize tax and risk mitigation.
• Estate & Legacy Planning: Assist clients with trust services, legal structuring, and philanthropic or family legacy planning.
• Business Development: Acquire new clients, build entrenching relationships, and cross-sell banking, trust, or credit products.
