We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join our investment team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior management and play a key role in investment research, evaluation, and portfolio management across global markets and multiple asset classes.
Key Responsibilities may include:
Private Equity & Fund Management & Investment Focus
. Developing and implementing investment strategies based on market trends and
economic conditions
. Researching and evaluating financial information, analysing investment opportunities,
and making investment decisions
. Monitoring the performance of investment portfolios and adjusting strategies as
necessary
. Prepare fund/business investment memos and support full due diligence process,
ensuring all relevant factors are considered.
. Establishing and maintaining the relationship with key stakeholders (brokers, bank, board, investors etc.) and discuss investment goals and strategies with them to provide updates on portfolio performance
. Update and review fund/portfolio performances and to ensure compliance with
regulatory and compliance standards.
. Complying with all regulatory requirements, ensuring all trading and transactions are
conducted ethically and within law boundaries
. Preparing weekly/monthly/annually performance reports for Board and stakeholders
. Track and analyse portfolio data for accurate reporting
. Collect, update and analyse data perform financial modelling and track model
accuracy by comparing projections with actual financial outcomes
Requirements may include:
. Bachelor or master's degree of Finance, business and related
. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in one or more of the following sectors. Relevant internship experience may also be considered:-
business/financial investment analysis, investment
portfolio management, fund management, relationship management or related.
. Familiarity with financial analysis and business investment strategies - good
technical and comfortable with number crunching
. Proficiency in Excel Bloomberg, FactSet, and Python is preferred.
. Excellent analytical, detail-oriented, problem-solving, organizational skills and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight timelines.
. Strong ownership and interpersonal abilities to follow up and develop investment
project
. A proactive team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities and trading
strategies.
. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
. Professional English is required German and Chinese will be considered an
advantage.
