We are currently partnering with a leading Japanese private equity investment firm is seeking an Investment Analyst to support its growing Southeast Asia investment platform.
This role offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle, working closely with senior investment professionals on evaluating, executing, and managing investments across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and detailed financial modelling for potential investment opportunities.
- Support due diligence processes, including commercial, financial, legal, and operational workstreams.
- Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and recommendations for internal investment committees.
- Perform industry, market, and competitive research across Southeast Asia.
- Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives.
- Engage with management teams, advisors, and external stakeholders throughout transaction processes.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, or M&A Advisory.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse financial statements and assess investment opportunities independently.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Interest in Southeast Asian markets and cross-border transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
