Our client is a Singapore-listed real estate developer with a diversified portfolio spanning residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments across Asia-Pacific. With an established track record in landmark projects and a growing pipeline of overseas ventures, the firm is actively expanding its investment footprint across key markets including Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, and China. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a lean, entrepreneurial team with direct exposure to senior management and cross-border transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate potential acquisition and divestment opportunities across the region.
- Conduct market research and prepare intelligence reports on real estate trends, policy changes, and macroeconomic developments.
- Build and maintain financial models to assess project feasibility, returns (IRR/NPV), and sensitivity scenarios.
- Support the preparation of investment memos, business cases, and board presentations.
- Assist in transaction execution including due diligence, valuation review, term sheet drafting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide portfolio performance analysis and regular reporting to management on pipeline and existing assets.
Education
- Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, or corporate development.
- Exposure to financial modelling, valuation, and market research in a real estate context.
- Prior experience with cross-border projects is advantageous.
Skills
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills (Excel proficiency required).
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, REIS, or similar platforms a plus.
- Ability to synthesise complex data into clear insights for decision-making.
- Strong communication and coordination skills; Mandarin or Bahasa proficiency is a plus given regional coverage.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight timelines.
