Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial modelling and analysis for prospective real estate investments. Assist in preparing investment proposals, investment papers, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Perform market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the real estate sector. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including brokers, legal advisors, and property managers. Conduct due diligence on potential investment properties, including site visits and inspections. Monitor and report on the performance of current real estate investments. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to identify practical solutions to challenges. Be prepared for extensive travel as the firm has a global investment mandate.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Real Estate, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant finance experience, ideally within real estate, investment, or asset management environments. Strong interest in a career in real estate investment and asset management. Proficiency in financial statements, financial analysis, and investment concepts. Strong Excel skills with experience in financial modelling preferred. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to research, interpret, and synthesise financial and market information effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly. Proactive, inquisitive, and commercially aware, with a readiness to learn and assume responsibility. Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
