Operating with a lean team of five professionals, the firm delivers global mutual fund strategies to financial advisor clients. With a strong focus on independence, proactive research, and client engagement, the firm is positioned to provide tailored investment solutions and long-term value creation.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and independent Investment Analyst (IA) to support our Portfolio Managers in delivering investment insights and execution. The successful candidate will bring at least three years of relevant experience, ideally in mutual funds, and demonstrate strong analytical, research, and presentation skills. The IA will play a critical role in preparing investment memos, conducting market research, and presenting ideas at weekly investment meetings to inform portfolio decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Portfolio Managers in mutual fund research and global mandate strategies.
• Prepare investment memos, market updates, and factset reports for internal and client use.
• Present investment ideas at weekly meetings to aid decision-making.
• Conduct outreach to fund houses and coordinate events.
• Draft monthly market updates and contribute to client communications.
• Assist Business Development with client-facing materials when required.
• Engage with financial advisor clients, ensuring timely delivery of insights and updates.
• Debate and challenge investment ideas constructively to strengthen portfolio outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Investment Analyst or in a related role; mutual funds experience required.
• Strong research, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a lean team environment.
• Business-level English proficiency; Mandarin/Cantonese a plus given client base.
• Comfortable with remote work arrangements; willingness to attend office twice monthly (more frequently during probation).
