LOCATION: Singapore
Axiom Asia is a leading private equity firm that invests in venture capital / private equity funds and private companies throughout Asia. The firm was founded in 2006 and has since raised seven flagship funds, managing capital commitment of more than US$9 billion. From this established and stable platform, we have been investing in Japan and Korea since 2006. As part of our growth, we are seeking to hire an Investment Analyst who will be work closely with other investment professionals based in Singapore while travelling regularly to Japan and Korea to further increase our investments in these countries.
Responsibilities
Investments - Analysis and Due Diligence
- Conduct in-depth analysis and due diligence on potential fund investments, secondary investments, and co-investments
- Work independently or with other team members on deal analysis
- Prepare investment memos for investment committee meetings, including detailed data analyses and presentations
- Assist with execution of NDAs, offer letters, purchase agreements, and legal documentation
Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting
- Perform analysis on portfolio performance and prepare investor reports
- Develop commentary and investment information for annual meetings and portfolio reviews
Investor Relations
- Support the team with investor events and inquiries
- Conduct research for marketing, deal sourcing, and fundraising initiatives
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity/venture capital, Big 4 accounting, or management consulting
- Experience in financial modelling, financial statement analysis, accounting, and equity valuation
- Due to the need for this hire to work extensively in the Japanese and/or Korean market to engage local target and portfolio companies, strong communication skills in either Japanese and/or Korean will be required.

- Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Motivated team player with strong work ethic
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure supporting multiple colleagues
