Investment Analyst / Associate

Main duties

. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment opportunities in the energy transition domain across Southeast Asia

. Construction and maintenance of detailed financial models and cash flow valuations for renewable energy projects

. Support of due diligence work streams, transaction documentation and overall transaction execution for proposed investments

. Preparation of investment materials, internal memoranda and other transaction documents

. In-depth research in respect of relevant geographies, technologies and business models

. Contribute to business development and project development activities of the various projects under assessment

. Review of portfolio performances, valuation of platforms and analysis of results for stakeholders

Assist with preparing marketing collaterals and investors due diligence processes for fundraising activities

Skills required

. Strong academic credentials in business / economics / engineering and mastery of relevant corporate finance (valuation, budgeting, accounting etc.) concepts

. 2 - 5 years of experience in project development, banking, corporate finance, M&A, private equity or consulting experience in the renewable energy and energy transition industry is a plus

. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to build complex financial models

. Excellent communication skills in English, additional fluency in an Asian language is a plus

. Highly structured, detail-oriented and motivated self-starter
