Company Description
A Singapore-based Single Family Office and investment holding company is hiring an Investment Accountant. The role spans fund and corporate accounting, tax and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and the general ledger; prepare monthly, quarterly and annual SFRS financial statements across multi-entity structures, including cash, bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions
- Maintain accounting records for funds: capital calls, distributions, purchases, corporate actions, NAV and investment schedules
- Liaise with fund administrator and custodians, reconcile their statements against internal records and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate annual audits with external auditors
- Handle corporate income tax, withholding tax and IRAS filings with external tax advisors; prepare quarterly GST returns
- Complete KYC/AML onboarding and periodic refresh with counterparties; CRS/FATCA support
- File MAS Section 13U and ACRA annual reporting
Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's in Accountancy/Finance and CA (Singapore)
- 3–5 years combining public accounting and buy-side exposure (PE, hedge fund, fund administrator or family office)
- Strong grounding in SFRS, journal entries, investment accounting and multi-entity structures with complex ownership
- Working knowledge of Singapore corporate tax, GST and MAS AML-CFT obligations; familiar with broader financial compliance standards
- Advanced Excel, portfolio management systems and Bloomberg a plus
- Experience working with custodians, banks, auditors and external service providers
- Detail-oriented, discreet, and an effective communicator in a small, high-trust team
