Role: Subject Matter Expert / Operation Investigation Specialist (12 Months Contract)

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) | Flexible shifts (TuesSat or SunThurs)

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Platform Integrity operations, handling daily tasks and escalations effectively.
  • Educate users on maintaining security and using the platform responsibly.
  • Investigate complex and sensitive cases involving potential fraud or brand risk.
  • Collaborate with leads and stakeholders to optimize internal tools and policiesdriving automation, closing product gaps, and improving processes.
  • Analyze account patterns and online behavior to detect fraud trends and vulnerabilities.
  • Escalate risk patterns and findings to relevant product and policy teams.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and thorough documentation in all investigations.
  • Contribute to the evolution of User Knowledge Operations, supporting both proactive and reactive risk detection.
  • Partner with external vendors to refine risk detection methods and provide valuable insights.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and a collaborative spirit.

What You Bring

  • 12 years of experience in Risk Management, Fraud Prevention, or Trust & Safety.
  • Strong communication skillsboth written and verbalwith the ability to engage diplomatically with diverse users.
  • Excellent problem-solving, investigative, and analytical abilities.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Mac OS, and customer ticketing systems.
  • Ability to balance fraud prevention with positive customer experience.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities.
  • Understanding of online safety risks and ability to stay objective during sensitive investigations.
  • Experience or interest in data analysis; knowledge of SQL or JSON is a plus.

Work Schedule

  • Must be available to work a 5-day week (40 hours), including weekends or public holidays, based on the agreed schedule.
