Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily inventory activities, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation and inventory adjustments.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
- Manage inventory scrap and prepare reports for expired, damaged or obsolete inventory.
- Support inventory audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse inventory and operational data to monitor inventory health, stock levels and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare reports and dashboards to provide insights on inventory performance and operational trends.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Develop, maintain and improve inventory management SOPs and operational processes.
- Support SAP system enhancements, testing and implementation of new features when required.
- Participate in inventory-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Warehouse Operations, Planning, Customer Service, Quality, Finance and IT teams to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Provide inventory reports and documentation to support internal audits, compliance reviews and management reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Materials) or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics or supply chain within the Life Sciences, Medical Device, Clinical Diagnostics or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with SAP EWM, SAP ECC or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting and dashboard tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) will be an advantage.
