JOB SUMMARY:
Interns will work within an R&D innovation team conducting research across a broad range of areas, from the treatment of emerging contaminants to the development of new products for renewable energy applications.
This internship offers hands-on experience supporting new technology and product development, spanning early-stage materials and component testing through to later-stage process development and optimization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct daily laboratory work, including but not limited to:
- Operating ongoing experiments and preparing samples for routine analysis
- Performing analytical measurements such as physicochemical analyses, ion chromatography (IC), inductively coupled plasma (ICP), total organic carbon (TOC), and related techniques
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing experimental data
- Preparing laboratory reports and submitting results to supervisors
- Participating in discussions with the research team on experimental planning and progress
- Interns enrolled for a full semester will be assigned an independent research project to investigate and address a specific research problem under supervision.
- Candidates shall have knowledge of chemistry, water treatment and materials. Knowledge of electrochemistry will be a plus.
- Experience of working in a R&D lab will be appreciated

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to convey ideals and technical information effectively across a whole range of audiences (customer will have completions, production, facilities, water team, operations, regulatory and commercial teams to work with)
- Curiosity and strong drive to improve status-quo while working in a semi-autonomous environment. The candidate shall be keen on learning and developing knowledge on water industry.
