Job Description

Help us get ahead of disease together with ourVaccines Business Area Internship, 2027:

Education required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Science.

Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a full-time credit-bearing internship

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

Internship period: January to June 2027

What will you do

  • Perform annual reconciliation of various processes, i.e. quality tag out, approved supplier listing, etc
  • Scan and archive of Batch Records 
  • Perform QA Gemba 
  • Maintain various tracker, e.g. QI tracker, checklist review tracker, QTO tracker 
  • Quality improvement projects (Kaizens) 
  • Develop training guide for QA GMP/ Batch Release Intern & Improvement to induction programme for QA Operations Executive 

You will be involved in:

  • You will gain in-depth and cross-sectional insights into the GSK QA Operations function

  • Proficient in use of MS Word / MS Excel

  • Deadline-driven, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment 
  • Awareness and ability to work within culturally diverse teams 
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think and work independently, and problem-solve 
  • Strong drive for performance and attention to details 
  • A keen interest in vaccines manufacturing and a passion for knowledge
