We are seeking a motivated and talented intern to join our TRU Labs team from March to September 2025. This internship is an excellent opportunity for aspiring cybersecurity professionals to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment. Initially, the focus will be on handling routine tasks and contributing to research projects. Based on performance, there is potential for a full-time role in 2026. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual who thrives on solving challenging problems and is eager to make an impact in the field of cybersecurity.
What You'll Do
- Enhance our protection coverage for customers by researching and understanding new and emerging cyber threats.
- Analyze malicious content to understand its behavior and inner workings.
- Develop detection logic to combat cyber threats effectively.
- Work under the guidance of a mentor, who will introduce you to challenging tasks and help you grow in your role.
- Assist in malware analysis investigations or handle customer escalations related to cybersecurity incidents.
- Tackle complex, unsolved problems and contribute to innovative solutions.
What You Bring (experience & Qualifications)
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and concepts.
- Familiarity with analyzing malicious content (executables, documents, scripts)
- Prior research experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
