Job Description

Internship, Financial Advisory & Wealth Management

Voyage Wealth Advisory (Authorised Representative of AIA Financial Advisers Pte Ltd)

Location: Singapore (On-site)

Duration: 6 Weeks

Rolling intake, year-round

About Voyage Wealth Advisory

Voyage Wealth Advisory is an established financial advisory practice of 80+ consultants, operating as an authorised representative of AIA Financial Advisers. Our leadership team brings a decade-plus track record of MDRT and IDA qualifications, and we work across protection, investments, legacy planning, and long-term wealth strategy for individuals, families, and business owners.

We're large enough to give you exposure to a wide range of client cases, and structured enough that interns work directly with senior advisors rather than getting lost in the org chart.

About the Internship

This is an exploratory internship for students who want to understand what financial advisory actually looks like from the inside, beyond the brochure version. You'll work alongside advisors on live casework, contribute to client preparation and follow-up, and form your own view on whether this industry is for you. We don't expect you to know yet. We do expect you to engage seriously while you're here.

Commitment

  • 2 to 3 full days per week, scheduled consistently (not ad-hoc)
  • Minimum 6 weeks, so you see a case through from prospecting to plan delivery
  • On-site in Singapore
  • We've set it up this way deliberately. Shorter or less consistent arrangements don't give you enough exposure to learn the work, and they don't give us enough continuity to invest in you properly.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Support advisors with case preparation, fact-find analysis, and post-meeting follow-up
  • Build financial analyses and prepare client-facing materials that get used, not filed
  • Contribute to internal case discussions where advisors stress-test their own recommendations
  • Support research on products, markets, and planning structures (CPF, trusts, LPA, etc.)
  • Help run client engagement initiatives, learning sessions, and seminars

What You'll Gain

  • Sponsored CMFAS certifications (M9, M9A, HI) on completion of milestones
  • Direct access to senior advisors and leadership; no gatekeeping
  • A realistic, unfiltered view of the industry to inform your own career decisions
  • Monthly allowance of S$1,000 (pro-rated to days worked)
  • Performance-based recognition for standout contributors

Who We're Looking For

  • Undergraduates or recent grads (Diploma / A-Level minimum), aged 20+
  • Genuinely curious about wealth management, not just looking for a resume line
  • Comfortable with numbers and able to write clearly
  • Coachable, willing to be told you're wrong, willing to push back when you think we are
  • Available to commit to the schedule above for the full duration
