Lead the group's tax functions, including planning, filing, and disclosure, ensuring full compliance with tax laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
Manage international tax matters across the United States, Singapore, UAE, Hong Kong, and Mainland China, closely tracking policy changes and providing timely strategies in response.
Apply expertise in US GAAP tax accounting to ensure accurate tax reporting, deferred tax calculations, and compliance with group financial reporting standards.
Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Commercial, etc.) to provide strategic tax advice supporting business operations, investments, and cross-border transactions.
Conduct tax risk assessments, identify potential exposures, and design and implement mitigation measures.
Prepare, review, and maintain tax-related documents, disclosures, and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and support external tax audits and inspections.
Develop, enhance, and standardise the group's tax management systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in tax-related roles, with strong knowledge of international tax affairs and US GAAP tax accounting.
Proficiency in both Chinese and English (written and spoken), with the ability to manage tax work in multilingual and cross-border environments.
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines.
Recognised professional certifications such as CPA, Tax Agent, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
In-depth understanding of tax laws, regulations, and policies in the US, Singapore, UAE, Hong Kong, and Mainland China, with the ability to apply them effectively.
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous and responsible work style, and the ability to deliver under pressure.
