Job Description

Our client specializes in the design, production, and supply of advanced brand protection solutions and secure product markings to safeguard high-value commercial goods. The company is at the forefront of determining worldwide standards for anti-counterfeiting technology in the private sector. These solutions trusted by over 500 leading brands worldwide and deployed to protect products across luxury goods, automotive parts, electronics, and agrochemicals.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Acquisition of projects and clients in different industry segments (e.g. Automotive, FMCG, Wine & Spirits, Luxury, Consumer Electronics, Chemicals, etc.) in the SEA + Korea.
  • Creating and maintaining a customer and prospects network, identifying core buying centre processes and carrying out competitive insights
  • Support for sales staff in the national companies and sales partners in AsiaUnderstanding and translating customer/prospect needs to succeed in project work from first concept to product approvals to final contract closings
  • Take over customer management responsibility for existing clientsEstablish and drive challenging customer projects as a project leader
  • Strengthening commercial offline and online negotiations by excellent business acumen
  • Responsible for sustainable sales and profit growth
  • Acting as a team player in an international environment
  • Close cooperation especially with the Project Management Team and a multinational Sales Team
  • Share and communicate valuable market information internally through new digital channels with positive team spirit in a fast-paced way

Professional experience

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in sales including acquisition of new business and key account management, business development - preferably in project business environment environments
  • Proven track record in driving international regional business growth in similar or related industries
  • Sector experience
  • Sector experience in the field of product-security and brand protection experience in CRM, IT and/or track & trace is a plus

Technical skills

  • Networker with excellent cross-functional communication skills
  • Self-starter with Hunter mentality, high level of assertiveness and persistence
  • Highly self-organized and result oriented
  • Hands-on mentality and willingness to travel across SEA

Location and travel

  • Based in Singapore (Home Office).
  • Regular travel in APAC (up to 50%).
  • Willingness to take part in overseas training programme initially

Education

  • Bachelor/Master in Business, Engineering, Printing or comparable degree
  • While a technical degree is not mandatory, having a technical background and/or additional academic qualifications is a good plus.
