Job Overview:

As an Energy and Utilities Expert, you will provide specialized post-delivery support for energy infrastructure and systems in the E&U sector, focusing on maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing deployed assets such as SCADA systems for renewable energy (e.g., wind, solar, storage) and utility networks. Drawing on your deep domain expertise, you will deliver technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders to sustain long-term efficiency and reliability. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels in post-deployment environments, offering strategic insights and hands-on support to drive operational excellence and innovation in sustainable energy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and maintain deployed SCADA and energy systems for optimal performance.
  2. Provide troubleshooting and resolution for post-deployment issues.
  3. Optimize and upgrade performance of energy systems post-delivery.
  4. Maintain documentation and generate reports on system health and compliance.
  5. Manage the lifecycle of deployed energy assets, including maintenance scheduling.
  6. Engage with stakeholders for post-delivery support and feedback.
  7. Ensure regulatory compliance and manage risks in E&U operations.
  8. Deliver training and knowledge transfer for deployed systems.
  9. Offer strategic advice for process improvements in sustained operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Automation, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SCADA system operations and maintenance.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of E&U domain, including post-deployment support for SCADA architecture, power grid maintenance, and integration of renewable energy systems.
  • Proficiency in network protocols for E&U (e.g., IEC104, Modbus), scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Bash), and tools for post-delivery monitoring (e.g., MySQL databases, energy management software).
  • Expertise in post-deployment practices, such as system optimization, regulatory compliance updates, and risk mitigation for sustained operations in utility networks.
  • Support-oriented project management skills, including methodologies like ITIL or Agile for managing post-delivery processes and service delivery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for providing technical support to stakeholders, preparing post-deployment reports, and facilitating remote or on-site assistance in E&U contexts.
  • Ability to handle post-delivery challenges, such as performance tuning and emergency response, with a focus on E&U-specific standards and tools.
  • Personal Qualities:
  • Proficient in English for work-related communication is a must; fluency in Chinese is a bonus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong sense of responsibility, and good team spirit.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet urgent demands.
  • A strategic, proactive mindset focused on long-term E&U sustainability, including the ability to anticipate and address post-deployment needs in dynamic energy environments
