Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Japan Collaboration & Client Development

  • Enhance collaboration with PwC Japan to identify and pursue opportunities supporting Japanese clients expanding internationally.
  • Act as a bridge between Japanese stakeholders and PwC's global network to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.

International Expansion & Growth Strategy

  • Develop market expansion strategies including market, consumer, and competitor assessments, as well as product and services analysis.
  • Formulate strategic points of view focused on international growth opportunities for Japanese clients.

Market Entry & Operating Model Design

  • Design market entry scenarios covering channel strategies, operating model design, and partner evaluation and selection.

Location & Footprint Strategy

  • Support global and regional site selection for new headquarters, R&D centers, and manufacturing or production facilities.
  • Conduct global talent assessments to evaluate talent availability and suitability for clients growth strategies.

Supply Chain & Ecosystem Strategy

  • Support supplier portfolio realignment by identifying and assessing suppliers aligned with rebalanced supply chain and manufacturing strategies.

Client Engagement & Advisory

  • Support and facilitate client discussions and strategy workshops with senior executives from corporate organizations and government entities.
  • Deliver high-quality insights and recommendations tailored to Japanese clients business and cultural contexts.

Business Development & External Engagement

  • Engage in business development and client pursuit efforts, including proposal development and client presentations.
  • Establish and maintain strong international networks with external stakeholders, including clients and industry associations.
  • Participate in regional and international conferences and client events.
