What will you be doing
This role is hands-on, requiring a proactive and driven attitude. Your primary responsibility is to develop our business in the different markets by a target orientated market communication to create networks for defined verticals and derive respective strategies to achieve the aligned business targets.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
. Leading the Business Development approach for the d&b APAC Territory in line with the corporate strategy
. Push the overall Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and support achieving the sales goals in the APAC territory
. Development of market verticals in collaboration with the APAC teams
. Create long-term sustainable relationships resulting in business leads, orders and sales
. Identify market opportunities and prepare to lift respective business potentials
. Strategy and brand aligned communication in the pro-audio community in order to strengthen d&b's position as the leading pro-audio brand
. Ensure market intelligence is gathered and consolidated to report to all key stakeholders on a regular basis
. Contribute to APAC events in collaboration with local marketing management
. Collaborate and engage with other d&b Group companies and initiatives, e.g. d&b solutions, to further strengthen d&b Group's positioning as event technology company
What we're looking for
You are an enthusiastic, proactive, and versatile individual with a passion for live events and experience in the area of Business Development. Ideally, you will fit the bill for most of the below:
. 10+ years of proven track record in B2B Business Development, Sales, Marketing and other strategic positions
. Experience in Event industry ideally coming along with a network in the relevant markets
. Strong interpersonal skills creating long-term sustainable relationships and expanding our d&b network with decision makers and decision influencers of the pro audio industry
. Experience and ability to create strategies, establish structures and execute plans that contribute to the overall business targets
. Willingness and ability to work KPI based and motivation to create new KPI's to develop the region
. Proactive and creative multi-tasker with self-initiative and open mind set with the ability to think 'out of the box' and in the broader audio, video, light and media (AVLM) as well as xR technologies spectrum
. Work independently, target oriented and take ownership.
. Well self-organized person with a structured working approach in order to efficiently make use of his/her time and the time of other internal/external stakeholders
. Creating discussion material in collaboration with other departments in order to appropriately communicate with partners, customers and users.
. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
. Proficient in the use of common business practice tools and databases such as power point, excel, Sales Force, etc.
