We are seeking a hands-on Internal Software Project Manager to manage and coordinate the software development lifecycle (SDLC) (new features and change requests) for existing systems that support both business operations and technical teams.
This role focuses on translating business requirements into actionable technical deliverables, managing and communication with resources, ensuring quality releases, and improving internal work processes.
You will work closely with developers, QA, product owners, and business units to plan, track, and deliver enhancements with efficiency and precision.
Manage the end-to-end SDLC, from requirements gathering and development tracking to testing, deployment, and post-release review.
Clarify and define clear actionable tasks, evalutate risk and impact, and present solutions to stakeholders for approval/verification.
Translate requirements into clear technical language or illustration for the development team, strengthening understanding and execution capabilities.
Communicate and coordinate with various departments to synchronise actionable task, timeline, information and status.
Plan and oversee project execution, identifying and mitigating risks that could impact delivery or business operations, while ensuring timely, high-quality completion and regular progress updates to stakeholders.
Assist as Release Manager to orchestrate production release and system monitoring to ensure smooth delivery and business continuity
Minimum 2 years of experience in software project management or coordination, and have worked with developers, QA, and product teams in a cross-functional environment.
Past experience as Developer or Team Lead working, and familiar with SQL and Java code
Strong logical and analytical thinking, high stress tolerance, and attention to detail
Excellent situation awareness and responsiveness due to dynamic environment
Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese are required, as the role involves regular interaction with Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
Experience handling or integrating third-party payment systems is a plus.
Familiar with SDLC processes, Git branching workflows, and basic CI/CD deployment understanding.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Lark, MS Office) is advantageous.
