  • Execute design effectiveness testing (walkthroughs) and operating effectiveness testing for key internal controls.
  • Lead the execution of remediation plans for control gaps or deficiencies identified by independent assessors and external auditors, prioritizing action items based on risk severity.
  • Collaborate closely with external advisors, auditors, and internal process owners to ensure all control designs, policies, and documentation meet public market standards and fit the business.

Stakeholder & Project Management:

  • Act as the subject matter expert on internal controls for the Company, reporting progress, risks, and open issues to senior leadership and Parent Company.
  • Coordinate with process owners across departments (Finance, Shared Service Center, Café Operations, Legal, IT, HR, Franchising, Supply Chain, Marketing) to embed a strong control culture and drive required process updates.

Your Ingredients

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in internal audit, internal controls, or risk advisory (Big 4 experience is highly preferred).
  • Direct, hands-on experience as part of an IPO readiness or public-listing control preparation team.

  • Expert proficiency in mapping end-to-end process flowcharts, writing comprehensive policies, and drafting Risk & Control Matrices (RCMs).
  • Self-starter with strong project management skills, able to drive deliverables independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to influence across business units.
  • Flexibility and readiness to travel as project milestones require.
