Internal Controle and Compliance Manager- Market Leader in FMCG sector

Our client, a leading organisation in the FMCG sector, is looking to hire a Internal Controle and Compliance Manager as part of their continued business growth.

This role will play a key part in strengthening governance, risk, and internal control frameworks across the group, ensuring strong financial reporting, policy governance, and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

It is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in external audit, governance, risk, or internal controls who are keen to move into a strategic, group-level role with regional exposure.

Key Responsibilities

Governance & Controls

• Lead and drive group-wide governance and control initiatives, including new system implementations, process enhancements, and new business initiatives.
• Partner closely with GRC, Internal Audit, and External Auditors to identify control gaps and implement improvements.
• Strengthen and enhance controls over financial reporting across the organisation.

Policies & Governance

• Develop and implement group policies and governance guidelines covering accounting standards, authorisation frameworks, and business processes.
• Review and update policies to ensure ongoing relevance, effectiveness, and compliance.

Capability Development

• Build a governance and controls competency roadmap for finance teams across the group.
• Develop training materials and lead workshops, seminars, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Drive communication initiatives to promote governance and control best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 912 years of relevant experience, including external audit experience (Big 4 preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Governance, Risk & Control frameworks or Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
• Strong stakeholder management, project management, and communication skills.
