Our client is a fast-growing manufacturing company with regional operations, currently in advanced stages of preparation for a U.S. stock exchange listing. As part of this exciting growth journey, they are looking to bring on a driven and technically strong Internal Controls Senior Specialist to build and lead their internal control framework from the ground up.

  • Lead the design, documentation, and implementation of SOX 404-compliant internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR)
  • Develop process documentation including risk control matrices (RCMs), flowcharts, and control descriptions
  • Execute management's assessment of internal control effectiveness in accordance with SEC and PCAOB requirements
  • Coordinate external auditor SOX 404 testing and manage remediation of identified deficiencies
  • Support U.S. listing preparation by ensuring timely establishment of an IPO-ready internal control environment
  • Align the internal control framework with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and PCAOB auditing standards
  • Conduct annual fraud risk assessments and entity-level control evaluations
  • Drive automation of controls and implement data analytics for control monitoring
  • Partner with process owners across business units to embed control awareness into daily operations
  • Serve as the primary contact for external auditors on all ICFR matters

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA, CIA, or CISA certification preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in internal controls, internal audit, or external audit (Big 4 background strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on SOX 404 experience is essential, particularly first-year implementation or remediation projects
  • Prior exposure to U.S. IPO or SEC reporting readiness is a strong advantage
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, PCAOB standards, and the COSO 2013 Framework
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin (wrritten and spoken) as needs to deal with Mandarin speaking stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
