What The Role Is
You will be involved in developing risk-based audit plans and designing of audit procedures.
What You Will Be Working On
- Assist in the development of the risk-based audit work plan
- Design audit procedures with reference to industry best practices and standards
- Conduct construction and operational audits and assess the internal controls, as well as the reliability and integrity of business operations
- Provide value-added recommendations to improve the governance, risk management and control processes
- Engage and communicate with relevant stakeholders throughout the audit and conduct follow-up reviews on the implementation of corrective actions
- Communicate the audit outcome to Management
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
- Background in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field, preferably with 3 to 5 years of working experience in internal auditing
- Proficiency in relevant auditing and data analytics techniques and softwares such as Tableau, Building Information Modeling and SAP
- Good working knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk assessment, and internal controls
- Knowledge of the emerging construction technologies, Workplace Safety and Health, and Environmental, Social, and Governance
- An inquiring mind, strong team spirit, dedication, integrity, ability to multi-task, and good time management skills, and innovative in applying new techniques in auditing
- Strong analytical, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
