Internal Audit Director

Our client, a local listed company is seeking for their Internal Audit director to overseas integrated audit across operation, corporate function and some IT GC.

Key Responsibilities

Job Description

• Drive a risk-based internal audit programme by assessing business operations, financial processes, technology controls and key corporate functions across the Group.
• Partner with business leaders and Audit committee to identify control gaps, improve governance practices and enhance operational effectiveness through practical recommendations.
• Provide independent assurance and advisory support on strategic initiatives, process enhancements and emerging business risks.
• Utilise data analytics and technology-enabled audit techniques to deliver deeper insights and improve audit quality.
• Prepare and present audit reports, key observations and risk updates to senior management in accordance to SGX requirements
• Lead, coach and develop the Internal Audit team, promoting a strong culture of integrity, accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline, with professional qualifications such as CIA, CPA, CA, CISA or equivalent preferred.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit with SGX listed company background
• Willing to travel about 25%
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
