This is a newly created Director, Internal Audit position with a global technology company. As part of the senior leadership team, this role with lead the internal audit function, shape strategies to support listing ambitions for the organisation.

Description
- Lead the development and execution of a global internal audit strategy and risk assessments, aligned with the IPO roadmap
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the C-suite on governance, controls, audit readiness, presentation of findings and remediation plans
- Oversee internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with external auditors to streamline audit processes and ensure effective risk coverage
- Build and mentor a high-performing audit team to support long-term organisational needs
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and operational improvements through insightful audit findings
Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA, CPA, or CIA qualification preferred
- At least 12 years of working experience with strong expertise in internal audit and risk management frameworks
- Experience in both multinational corporations and startups is highly advantageous
- Demonstrated success in building audit frameworks from the ground up for IPO readiness
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proven senior stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrates high integrity and agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
