Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to gain hands-on experience in internal audit We are assisting a leading facilities management company to hire a dedicated Internal Audit Assistant for a 6-month contract (with potential extension depending on performance).
This role is ideal for individuals seeking short-term employment and looking to gain valuable exposure in audit and compliance.
What You Will Do
- Assist in data gathering and analysis for audit planning.
- Support audit fieldwork, including evaluating risks, internal controls, and governance processes.
- Apply data analytics techniques (Excel, ACL, Tableau) to strengthen audit effectiveness.
- Document audit work clearly with supporting evidence for review.
- Contribute to drafting audit observations, highlighting control weaknesses, and suggesting process improvements.
- Support in preparing audit reports, management responses, and action plans.
- Assist in tracking audit issues and progress of remediation actions.
- Participate in developing the annual internal audit plan and management presentations.
What We Are Looking For
- GCE N, O or A Level with accounting relevant discipline is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and sound judgement.
- Proactive, adaptable, and organised with good interpersonal skills.
- Effective communicator with strong report writing skills.
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Due to regulatory and work pass requirements, this role is open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents
