The Supply Chain Employees Union is an industrial union that represents employees in the supply chain sector and is an affiliate of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). Unionised companies under SCEU includes ST Logistics and YCH which employs more than 2,000 employees in Singapore. SCEU helps to improve the standard of living, the quality of life and the working conditions of its union members and represented employees. The union promotes an environment of good industrial relations and the social and cultural interests of its union members. SCEU currently serves more than 5,900 union members.
We are looking for an intern to support the SCEU team for the following role:
1. Membership & Recruitment Support
- Support and help drive SCEU's membership and recruitment strategy, with a particular focus on engaging Professionals, Managers and Executives (PMEs).
- Assist in developing outreach materials and digital content to attract and retain members.
- Coordinate membership campaigns and monitor progress towards recruitment targets.
2. Member Engagement & Social Media
- Establish and support digital engagement efforts across social media platforms to enhance connection with SCEU members.
- Develop and schedule content (e.g., news updates, member stories, infographics) that strengthen online presence and foster community engagement.
- Track engagement metrics and recommend improvements for communication strategies.
3. Research & Industry Insights
- Conduct research on jobs, tasks, and skill areas at risk of displacement or transformation within supply chain sector.
- Support the development of reports with SCEU about the company's CTC (Company Training Committee) initiatives.
- Identify emerging trends and technological changes that may impact workforce transformation.

- Possesses strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse audience.
- An innovative and strategic thinker passionate about community engagement.
- A collaborative individual who is detail-oriented and proficient in using Microsoft Office
