Pioneering workers rights since 1961, the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) unites 59 trade unions, seven trade associations, 12 social enterprises, and other enterprise partners as we create better lives for workers here in Singapore.

The intern will support the Strategic Comms Team in creating and managing engaging content across social media and web platforms. This includes assisting with video production, copywriting, website updates, social media engagement, and data tracking to help optimise digital campaigns and online presence.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production
- Assist with video editing for event highlights, interviews, social media explainers, and campaign content.
- Support filming, storyboarding, and scripting for short-form videos.
- Manage subtitles, graphics, and adaptations of videos across different platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Research trending video formats and propose creative ideas that align with NTUC's values and campaigns.
- Website Management & Optimisation
- Assist in updating and maintaining website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Support search engine optimisation (SEO) efforts, including basic keyword research and content optimisation.
- Work with the digital team to test and implement new features or updates that improve user engagement.
Data Analysis & Management
- Gather and organise data from website analytics, social media platforms, and other digital tools.
- Track and report on digital campaign and website performance.
- Identify simple trends and patterns in data to support recommendations for optimisation.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Learn to use industry-standard tools such as Google Analytics, social media dashboards, and CMS platforms.
- Work closely with the digital team to understand how data drives decision-making in digital strategy.
Social Media
- Assist with content creation: copywriting, designing posts, and preparing assets for multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Support live event coverage, including photography, videography, and quick-turnaround posts.
- Monitor online trends, worker-related conversations, and community engagement opportunities.
- Support social media engagement by responding to comments, DMs, and fostering positive interactions with followers.
- Research and experiment with emerging formats (e.g., TikTok/Reels trends, interactive content, polls, carousels).
Candidate Profile.
- Strong interest in social media, video production, and digital storytelling.
- Basic skills in video editing, graphic design, and copywriting for online platforms.
- Familiar with social media platforms and trends, especially TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Analytical mindset with curiosity about data-driven decision-making and digital performance metrics.
- Detail-oriented, creative, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive team player with good communication skills and a willingness to learn new digital tools and techniques.
