Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Process Development & Improvement
- Assist in mapping and documenting existing O&M workflows (e.g. preventive maintenance, corrective works, service reporting, client updates)
- Support development of standardized process flows for solar maintenance operations
- Identify inefficiencies and propose practical improvements to enhance productivity and consistency
- Develop SOPs and work instructions for internal team and contractors
- Workflow Automation
- Support automation of routine O&M tasks such as:
- Service report generation
- Maintenance scheduling trackers
- Asset/database updates
- Client reporting templates
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, macros), Power Automate, or other digital platforms to streamline processes
- Assist in building simple dashboards for tracking system performance, faults, and maintenance status
- Data Management & Analysis
- Support creation and maintenance of asset databases for solar PV systems
- Consolidate and clean maintenance and operational data
- Perform basic data analysis to identify trends (e.g. recurring faults, downtime patterns)
- Assist in generating reports for internal review and management updates
- Documentation & Reporting
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, checklists, and inspection templates
- Support improvement of service report formats for clarity and standardization
- Ensure proper record keeping for maintenance activities and compliance
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Background in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems or equivalent
- Basic knowledge or interest in renewable energy / solar PV systems
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel; knowledge of macros or automation tools is an added advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Good communication and documentation abilities
